ExtDocSuite

The ExtDocSuite is an Adobe Air Application that includes the current ExtJS 3.2 Documentation in a single application to install. We provide this package, because ExtJS has not yet updated the Air Documentation app for Ext 3.2.

Features:

  • Includes the latest Documentation for ExtJS 3.2.0
  • Includes the latest ux Documentation from the examples/ folder (using ext-doc)
  • Includes the latest Ext.Air Documentation. (using ext-doc)
  • Search works (online)
  • EXPERIMENTAL per-class search aids in finding the right documentation in big classes
  • Integrated Update-System so that your documentation always stays up to date

Since you have not flash installed, you may also directly download the .air-File directly:
ExtDocSuite_3.2.0.air


Current Version: 3.2.0 Changelog, direct download (if the installer on the right fails)

New: The application is now properly code-signed so no need to verify MD5 sums from now on to be sure that the packages comes from us.

Unfortunately it does not work with AIR 2 (could this be the problem?)

I have not tested this against the AIR 2 Beta, and have currently no plans on doing it. When AIR 2 is released, we plan to release an AIR 2 compatible version as soon as possible if some changes have to be done on our side. (Hope not)

Well I dont think that in the end there is anything to do to let it run in AIR 2, because AIR 2 should be 100% backwards-compatible to 1.5. I believe it does not work now, because AIR 2 has still bugs (its not in beta for nothing) which prevent it to work properly.
But if we need help in testing for AIR 2 i would happily come back to you.

The reason it does not work with AIR2 is probably not because AIR2 has bugs, but rather the application.xml file requires 2.0.beta2 rather than 1.5 in the xmlns…

A small feature-request: Can you make it remember its window-size / -position / -status (maximized)?

Please add search-feature in result-pages.

Example:
- Search ‘Button’
- Class Ext.Button appears
- Now would like to ‘jump’ to search further and ‘jump’ to a method down in the page

I can not select any text and copy it, any idea?
